About Us

Where It All Started

Oceana Community Health was founded in 2022 with a clear and urgent purpose: to reimagine what it means to care for communities often overlooked by traditional healthcare systems. Born in the heart of Southeast Florida, our mission was rooted in dignity, inclusion, and the unwavering belief that health is not a privilege reserved for the few — but a human right that must be upheld for all.

What began as a small, dedicated initiative to address critical gaps in access and health literacy has rapidly evolved into a trusted, full-spectrum safety-net provider. Today, Oceana spans across seven counties in Southeast Florida — in which many communities face the most severe social and economic barriers to care. From preventative screenings and behavioral health to HIV treatment, STD testing, and mobile outreach, we bring services directly into the communities that need them most. Our multilingual staff build trust where there once was fear, and our holistic model ensures every patient receives more than a diagnosis — they receive understanding, respect, and hope. Though young in years, our impact has been profound. We are not just delivering healthcare — we are restoring dignity, empowering communities through our Essentials Support Program, and reshaping the future of public health in Florida.

This movement is about more than medicine. It’s about meeting people where they are. It’s about standing in the gap. It’s about every patient who finally feels seen. And it’s about every partner, advocate, and neighbor who shares our vision for a more just, more compassionate system of care.

At Oceana Community Health, we’re not just providing care — we’re transforming lives. Every day, I witness the incredible impact our team has on the most underserved members of our community, breaking down barriers to healthcare with dignity, compassion, and innovation. It’s an honor to lead an organization so deeply rooted in service, and I’m proud to stand beside a team that believes healthcare should meet people where they are — physically, emotionally, and socially.
