Dr. Syed completed his Internal Medicine training at the prestigious Yale University, a testament to his excellence in the field. His reputation as a highly skilled and knowledgeable physician precedes him. Dr. Syed has earned recognition through several prestigious awards, including the Compassionate Doctor Recognition for the years 2015, 2016, and 2018. Meet Our Infectious Disease Specialist: Shilpa Chaudhari, MD
Dr. Shilpa Chaudhari is our renowned Infectious Disease physician, bringing over two decades of extensive experience in the specialty to our patients. She completed her internship and Internal Medicine residency in New York and further honed her expertise with a fellowship in Infectious Disease at Drexel University. Her career includes significant contributions as a consultant at Virtua Hospitals in New Jersey and the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Philadelphia.
Dr. Chaudhari’s diverse experience spans across various ethnic groups and healthcare settings, where she has made notable strides in treating HIV, Hepatitis C, immunocompromised, and transplant patients. Her primary area of interest lies in MDR-infections, and she is an active member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA). Dr. Chaudhari's academic contributions are commendable, with numerous award-winning abstracts, posters, and manuscripts to her name, showcasing her dedication to advancing medical knowledge and patient care.
Now joining Oceana Community Health, Dr. Chaudhari is committed to expanding access to infectious disease management for all patients.
